Composite
Composite is a material that can be used in many different possible applications with growing significance in a wide range of industries – particularly in aircraft construction. The requirements made in this case of the development and production process differ fundamentally from the use of metallic materials. Special know-how and extensive experience are prerequisite for practical development with composite materials making the results suitable for the production process.

ELAN has been involved in component development from composite materials for many years and has a wide range of experience from a large number of projects, for example in the design and calculation of components for the aviation industry or rotor blades for wind turbines.

With this special know-how, the design and calculation engineers at ELAN put the material to optimum use, achieving the maximum performance with the minimum weight. Furthermore, we are in a position to ascertain the necessary material characteristics through fundamental testing procedures so that in addition to the calculations, we can also provide verification of the strength values through part trials.
